According to the United Nation’s Sustainable Developmental Goal on Gender Equality, it will take an estimated 140 years for women to be represented equally in positions of power and leadership in the workplace. This as significant progress is being made over the years to achieve gender equality, with more women participating and occupying leadership roles in all sectors of the economy, including the media industry.
